CPCU IS A PUBLIC SERVICE DELEGATION RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISTRICT HEATING OF PARIS AND TO WHOM WE SUPPLY DERTAL®, A 100% RENEWABLE BIOLIQUID USED TO FUEL THE ENERGY MIX OF THE PARISIAN HEATING NETWORK AND BEYOND.
Produced in France, the Dertal® range is manufactured from renewable co-products stemming from the paper industry and the upcycling of DRT’s own by-products, as part of a virtuous circular economy approach. Dertal®, a renewable energy without any competition with food usage, offers a high-performance and sustainable alternative to fossil energies and makes it possible for our customers, such as the City of Paris, to improve their energy mix by increasing their renewable content.
Dertal® is used as a fuel to produce heat which is sent onto the Parisian heat network for residential areas and offices. In 2022, the use of Dertal® enabled the City of Paris to avoid the emission of about 5,400 tons of CO2.
