Hydrogenated resin
Key properties
Staybelite Ester 5 resin is a pale, thermoplastic rosin with excellent resistance to oxidation and discoloration. Its principal use is in chewing gum bases where it imparts masticatory properties in combination with polymers and other ingredients.
The oxidation resistance of Staybelite Ester 5 resin helps finished chewing gums retain chewability, consistency, and flavor throughout their shelf lives.
